Blue Flute Studio offers instruction for students interested in learning or advancing their skills on piano or flute. Through individual piano lessons and flute lessons, students will work on technique and theory in a manner that will allow them to experience the joy of music. Lessons at Blue Flute Studio are offered for students at any level -- beginner to advanced.
Fun and Exciting Lessons
Sarah Stevenson is professional and experienced, friendly, easy-going, and always prepared. She has a passion for sharing her love of music with others and seeing them share in this wonderful musical experience. Because she is supportive, she can keep young children inspired and motivated. Lessons will primarily be provided in Worthington, OH but can be arranged off-site.
Musician For Hire
In addition to teaching private lessons, Sarah is available to play for weddings, worship services, in musical productions, chamber ensembles, and for studio recording sessions.
Sarah is available to play at Master Classes for all ages of school music classes as well as open houses for retirement communities and events.
Sarah earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in instrumental performance from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, OH, and Belmont University in Nashville, TN, with coursework that included instruction in pedagogy (private teaching). She has studied under Phyllis and Randy Hester (Columbus Symphony), George Pope (Akron Symphony and Solaris Wind Quintet), and Carolyn Treybig.
